A Day in the Life

It is a shame this prompt didn't land on a Monday or a Wednesday. Heck, my whole week other than Tuesday are going to be far more interesting than my Tuesday. I could have shown you play rehearsals, the school where I volunteer, Starbucks, along with my regular day-to-day stuff in the office.

However, the prompt was for today and therefore you get to experience my boring Tuesday.

Tuesday because I am attempting at scheduling my posts the day before so that way, the day they are supposed to be up it's good to go right away in the morning.

I did my best to make this interesting for you all.

If you follow my Instagram, you've already seen all of these photos clutter your feed. I'm sorry.

We'll go top left to right.

6:20am- wake up! My iPod chosing to wake me up to Newsies definitely put a smile on my face.

7:45am- I had to write my blog post for the day at the last minute because I was lazy on Monday. While I did this, I watched How I Met Your Mother.

8:30am- My morning routine in the office. Drinking coffee and catch up on blogs and emails.

9:15am- Staff meeting time! We had it a whole hour earlier this week.

10:30am- Working on the scavenger hunt for the youth group lock-in this weekend.

11:15am- My computer at work decided to restart itself... again. It's been making a bad habit of this recently. It's exhausting and annoying. The tower hasn't had sides for at least a week now because we're trying to figure out what's wrong.

12:15pm- Lunch time! Chilling with Bandit before having to go back to work.

1:30pm- My vanilla coke from the gas station around the corner from church. It was only $.50 today and we're addicted to these in our office.

2:40pm- back in the car! I've been listening to the book The Host lately. It was the first way I read the book and I love it. I kind of go all fan-girl and squeal every time Ian is mentioned. (This book is much better than Twilight, I promise. Even if it is Stephanie Meyer.)

3:30pm- So, I pick these two girls up from school fairly often. I had this conversation with the older one (Madi).

Me: I need to take your picture!

Madi: (gives me a strange look)

Me: It's this day in a life thing where I take a picture every hour.

Madi: (Another strange look)

Me: It's for my blog and the prompt for tomorrow is A Day in The Life and I'm taking pictures every hour so I don't have to think of something to write.

Madi: (laughs) OK.

Me: It's weird isn't it?

Madi: (lying) No.

Me: Just let me take the picture. (I take it.) Thanks for indulging in my weirdness.

4:00pm- It was warm and sunny today so I took Bandit for a walk in our "woods." It was really hot.

5:00pm- Since it was so hot, our walk didn't last long. When I got home I immediately changed into clothes that weren't all gross and sweaty and made dinner. Easy frozen dinner that gets steamed for 10 minutes on the stove and it's good to go.

6:00pm- I was going to go to Starbucks after dinner and get some things done. But I was too tired. So I made a YouTube video for my friend Laura. Here's a screenshot.

7:30pm- Ice cream and the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance? Yes please!

8:45pm- Over the weekend I saw The Great Gatsby directed by Baz Lurhman and starring Leonardo DiCaprio. I'm in the play Romeo and Juliet. From Netflix I got Romeo and Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio directed by Baz Lurhman... I clearly have limited tastes in my entertainment lately.

9:15pm- It's tech week for another play, Rumors, that I'm doing lights and sound for, and I still need some sound effects. So I worked on that. Kind of important since Thursday is opening night.

9:30pm- This picture is basically just because I had chocolate and I had two extra slots in my picture collage layout. Thanks Dove for the "inspirational" quote to fill this void.

10:15pm- And some Game of Thrones to read before I go to bed. Yes, I go to bed between 10 and 11 because I'm lame like that.

So, there you have it. A day in the life of me which was today's blog prompt for Blog Everyday in May.

I know, my life is so glamorous and exciting you can't even handle it. Haha.

What's a typical day in your life?

And, since I was watching Romeo + Juliet and I saw The Great Gatsby over the weekend... here's some Leonardo DiCaprio. Oh how he's grown up and we still can't get enough of him. And we as in me. I can't speak for the rest of you. What do you think I am, a mind reader?

OK... and some Titanic because I can.

And Catch Me If You Can because I've been listening to the musical soundtrack. That deserves both Leo and Aaron Tevit.

Okay... I'm done now. Sorry. Not sorry.
