It was my first week of college classes ever.
I was eighteen, just finished Concordia University's "O-Week", and couldn't have been happier.
One day, I had an audition for a praise band. My high school choir teacher had it ingrained into my mind that when you audition, you looked your best. So I dressed appropriately. Cute top, skirt, and a hat as a statement piece.
I thought my audition was in the morning, so I got up early and went over to the music building.
Apparently I was wrong.
Oh well. At least I would look cute the whole day.
Since I had so much time to spare before my first class of the day, I went all the way over to the mail room (a whole ten steps over to the next building - such a big campus Concordia was...)
Most people would notice a big puddle of water by the vending machine. Or at least the yellow sign that warned people passing by that there was a big puddle of water.
Of course - I was not most people.
Before I knew it, I was on the ground in half splits and my skirt all the way up my hips revealing all.
Welcome to college.
Today's blog prompt was "Most Embarrassing Moment." Don't forget to link up with Story of my Life!
YIKES! lol.
ReplyDeleteI didn't have an embarrassing moment per se, but I did wear cute new shoes the first day... that cute into my heels mercilessly, so I was walking around half limping for most of the day. -_-
Newbies.
Love it! Did I ever tell you about the time I fell going down the steps in krentz?!
