Pack Your Bags!

Because I'm obsessed with giving you music lately, here is a song for you to listen to as you read:

I didn't link-up for Blogtember yesterday due to my Awesome Female Role Models post, and I'm stumped on what to do for today's topics, I'm going to do yesterday's!

If I could take three months off of work and do anything, I would grab some family/friends and run away to Europe. While this probably isn't very unique, I'm sure many other bloggers have said the same thing or something along those lines as well, I just know that is what I would want to do.

I would love to run around London, Paris, Rome, Munich, ... I would probably pick just one or two places though to stay. I'm thinking on month in London, a month in Paris, and a month somewhere in Italy. Then through each month take day trips to surrounding areas. I feel like this way I would be able to really experience each place better, instead of hurrying through.

Sometime during those months I would visit Anne-Claire and her family. Anne-Claire was an exchange student my family hosted when I was in high school, and beyond Skype we haven't seen each other since!

A friend of mine traveled to Germany and France two years ago and ever since we've talked about dropping everything to go. She said I would love to live in Munich because it reminded her of Chicago. It's an amazing city with a lot to offer, but it has a more laid back attitude the way Chicago does.

Here are her photos which she let me steal from her Facebook page. (She's an awesome photographer by the way, so I'll leave her website link for you at the bottom of this post.

Apparently this was near the Notre Dame and he was playing the song "Belle" from de Notre Dame Paris (Hunchback of Notre Dame musical.) How perfect is that?

  1. Funnily I just talked with my Grandma about where I'd like to travel to next. Top of my list was Australia/NZ followed by the US. If you ever run off to Europe, let me know please because maybe I could meet you someplace as it's usually not too difficult to get there on accord of how small Europe is.

    2. I probably wouldn't be able to shut up if I was going to the Us anyways, hehe. As for Down Under, I guess we'd have to meet there though as we probably fly in different directions to get there. Would be really awesome though.

  3. It's sounds like you would have a great time and I think a month in each place would be perfect, it would give you time to settle in and get to know the way of life. I said I'd like to travel round America, it makes me smile that nearly all the blogs I visited yesterday written by those who live in Europe wanted to travel around the US and nearly all those written by people who live in the US wanted to travel around Europe.
