Lessons Learned

Over Memorial Day Weekend I took a trip that I had been looking forward to almost my entire life...

New York City.

As a HUGE musical theatre geek (have done countless school and community theatre shows and majored in Drama ministry) and a city girl (born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago) I was outrageously excited for the trip. I couldn't wait to see if the Big Apple was all my imagination had hyped it up to be. While I was there, I learned a few things.

Want to read more of this post? I'm over at My Life As... today! Check it out. :) http://mylifeasmindy.blogspot.com/2012/06/guest-post-emily-from-love-woke-me-up.html

    1. Thanks, Shane! And I'm sure you would do fine in a big city. Just get someone who is used to it to go with and they can help you out.

    2. So, funny story. A few posts ago I read about your New York trip, watched the video, saw the picture of the street performers, and it drove me crazy because I could not remember where I had seen that picture before. Oops. Well, now I remember. haha
