New York City.
As a HUGE musical theatre geek (have done countless school and community theatre shows and majored in Drama ministry) and a city girl (born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago) I was outrageously excited for the trip. I couldn't wait to see if the Big Apple was all my imagination had hyped it up to be. While I was there, I learned a few things.

DeleteSo, funny story. A few posts ago I read about your New York trip, watched the video, saw the picture of the street performers, and it drove me crazy because I could not remember where I had seen that picture before. Oops. Well, now I remember. haha

DeleteOh my gosh so much fun ! I have wanted to get to new York for so long and we just haven't been able to get there yet. In hoping next summer.e. my husband does theatre too so is would just love for him to get to see some broadway plays. So jealous of you! Just found your blog today and am loving it!
