Now I'm Like- Supermagafoxyaweseomehot Cool

Last week my friend Jessica, of Faith Permeating Life, gave me a blog award!

The Liebster Blog Award goes to people who you want to thank for all of their hard work on their blog, for being themselves, and the impact they have had on your life. Thank you so much Jessica! I am so honored and touched that you gave me this award!

I had to look up in the dictionary what Liebster means. Apparently it is a German word for "dearest."

Awwwww. :)

So now, I get to nominate five other bloggers for the Liebster (Dearest) Blog Award. Five blogs that have touched my heart.

The rules? Not many actually and it's easy to do.

1) Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2) Reveal your top 5 picks for the award and let them know by leaving them a comment on their blog.
3) Post the award on your blog.
4) Bask in the love of the most supportive people in the blogsphere - other bloggers!
5) And best of all - have fun and spread the karma.

Here we go! Five of my dearest bloggers. While there are several people who's blogs I truly admire - I'm going to try not to nominate people who I've tagged previously or who Jessica tagged. There might be a little bit of overlap - but I'll try not to. I'm also cheating and nominating 6 people.

Julie of Brain Food. Julie was one of my theatre professors in college and we've become really good friends. She's always been there as a mentor to me, and I love her blog. She puts everything out there. Her struggles, her thoughts on life, her faith, job, EVERYTHING. She's brutally honest and is always willing to let me sit on the couch in her office the few times I get to visit campus and listen to me talk about life and give some advice.

Leslie of Life Told By Leslie. Leslie and I have been friends for almost a year now, but it feels like much longer! We were in Faith County together (she won the award for actress in a supporting role this past weekend!) and have become really close. We've laughed, cried, and shared countless cups of coffee together. The baristas at Starbucks have even compared us to Thelma and Louise because we were almost inseparable over the summer! She has truly welcomed me into her little family and I'm so glad to have a friend like her here in Missouri!

Matt of Fractured, Broken, and Beautiful. Matt and I have been friends ever since "O Week" our freshman year of college. He's mean, sarcastic, and one of my closest friends he's like a brother to me. He also has FAR TOO MUCH dirt on me - so promoting his blog here is probably a big risk since he could tell you all things that I more than likely don't want him to share. However, I can't deny that we are really close. His blog will challenge you to think differently - but it will be in a good way.

CheChe of CheCheSays. CheChe is a blog friend who I haven't actually met - but she has become one of my amazing sisters in Christ! I love reading her blog and how brutally honest she is about her faith and her life. Her story is so inspiring and I know that if I ever need prayers or someone to talk to, she is there 100%.

Mark of Thoughts of a Traveler. Mark is one of my co-workers and the father of one of my closet friends form college. He has really become a mentor to me the last 4 (going on 5) years in ministry and has welcomed me into his family. He always reminds me that I'm like family to him (and so is my dog Bandit!) and has listened to my struggles, worries, and tears countless times. His blog is awesome and always gets me thinking,

Leah of Adventures in Adulthood. Leah is Mark's daughter and she was my roommate my last year in college. She is an amazing person and I LOVE her blog! Leah is who she is and doesn't make excuses. She knows her thoughts and opinions and isn't afraid to share them - I love this about her. She and I just... get each other. She's a PHENOMENAL singer and a great actress. She also works at Starbucks and makes a mean coffee. ;)

So there you have it, my beloved bloggers. There are a lot of others, but they either have already had their turn in being tagged here, or will at some point in the future.

What bloggers have influenced your life?
