Everything You Wanted To Know

It's always good to have blog friends on Twitter, because they are always there to give you inspiration for your next blog post.

The lovely Rachel suggested that I write a post about things you need to know about me. Which actually fits because it's Friday (and who wants to think to hard on a Friday?) and I have been noticing some new faces around here in the comments. Let's get to know each other a bit better, shall we?

Here are ten things you need to know about me. Or at least ten things that might help you understand this blog better.



1) I spent my Thursday evening drinking wine, making a 10 minute freezer meal, watching Gilmore Girls and Anchors Away (a 1950s musical with Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly), eating ice cream, and chatting with a friend from college.

2) I am an expert fan-girl. Seriously, I feel like I should get paid to do it because I'm that much of an expert. Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, that rumor of NSYNC reuniting.. the list goes on for awhile.

3) I read - a lot. I know there are several people who read far more than I do, but I also have figured out I read far more than other people. I love to curl up and get lost in a book and live inside of the pages.

4) My Starbucks baristas and I are on a first name basis.

5) Along with reading, I also write. Obviously I write for my blog, but I also write novels. Usually they are retellings of fairy tales, but I have some other ideas floating around in my head. They might come to fruition during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month.) I wouldn't mind getting my foot in the door with writing free-lance, so if any of you know how to do so, please let me know. Or if you are ever in need of someone to write a guest post - I'm your girl! You'll be my best friend forever.

6) I live on the internet, which means we should be friends online. If you haven't found my contact information, please do so. I have a contact page above, as well as my links on the right side of this page. Then pick your favorite one and say hi! Because I live on the internet, I'll get back to you within the next 24 hours if not sooner. Unless I"m out of town somewhere and have no access to internets - which would be sad.

7) Currently, I am participating in VEDA - Vlog Every Day in August. You should check out my YouTube page.  This has taken over my life and I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do with myself once it's done.

8) Whenever I buy pretty new makeup, I have to go home and try it all on right away.

9) My dog Badit is the best dog ever. I haven't met a single person who hasn't liked him. Unless they were allergic or just hated the world.

10)  I really want some chocolate right now.
