God Is For Us

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas with those you love most. I know I am!

Here is one of my favorite Christmas songs by Casting Crowns - reminding me always of how powerful and wonderful God's love is for us.

So far while I've been up north for Christmas I have LOVED:
  • Meeting some of my blog and Love Drop friends for the first time face to face!
  • Being part of the last Love Drop
  • Catching up with old friends
  • Baking cookies with my mom while watching the Glee Christmas Special
  • Seeing how happy my dad is when an old friend randomly stopped by to visit with him
  • Helping my mom and sister with last minute Christmas shopping
  • Wrapping presents with my family
  • Playing around with Instagram on my sister's ipod touch
And that's just the beginning! The rest of this week I'll be able to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the season. I'm so excited.

What are some of your favorite things to do around the holidays?

And in case you missed any of the posts in my series on Todd Agnew's Christmas album Do You See What I See, here is the link that will lead you to all of those posts.

Do You See What I See?

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it...

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:1-4; 9-14
