So... here is my first attempt at a video blog.

And at play practice today - someone told me that TJ Max is selling already made Turkish Delight.

In case you couldn't tell from my last post, I kind of like books. Just a bit. Lately, I feel as though I've had a bit of writers block. Since I've been on such a reading novels kick the last few weeks, I thought it might be fun to give you all a taste of some of my all time favorite books. The books that have affected me the most. The ones that will probably never ever leave my bookshelf.

They say that admitting you have a problem is the first step right? Although I'm not sure if people sit around in a circle admitting their issues for the addiction I have.

The Question

About a month or so ago, PM2 came up to me with an idea. A teenager had asked him "Why do so many people hold grudges against Christians and the church?", and PM2 told me-

Why don't a group of us bloggers get together and answer this question? We can all blog about it on the same day and see what happens.

Thus, the birth of  The Question.

So... random fun text conversation I just had with my red-headed BFF about a possible online romance we're following.

Me:  I can't believe I'm so into this.

Read-headed BFF: It's because we don't have love lives of our own. LOL

Me: True story! We just blog about them to make them appear more interesting.

As my regular readers and some of my close friends may know, I have volunteered to be part of an organization called Love Drop by being on their blogger network. Which means that once a month I dedicate a blog post to Love Drop.

I have quickly become SO INCREDIBLY passionate about Love Drop. It's such a great idea. I feel as though God has truly put loving other people in simple ways on my heart. Love Drop (and it's affiliates ItStartsWithUs and Love Bomb) are AMAZING examples of this! With simply giving a small amount of your time/talents/money, you can change a life and show someone you love them!

Remember That Time We Beat Ourselves Up? - Good Times

Ah... Ash Wednesday. The first day of the season of Lent. It's that mournful time of year where Christians everywhere give up the most important things to them, then take whips and beat themselves up everyday, are never allowed to smile, and then show off their scars to each other. The more scars the better!

OK... just kidding.

When the Bad Guy Wins

I love stories. I love to read, watch, listen, tell, write, you name it, I love stories. But do you know what makes a good story? A good villain. I mean, so many times I love stories when I absolutely HATE HATE HATE the villain, which means they are good. I even have a friend who actually loves the bad guys so much that he tends to root for them, even though he knows in the end they probably won't win.
