Note: I got a little too "caption happy" playing around with my movie maker.
And... this is another announcement for my May theme (announcing it later this week) and I need a sponsor swap buddy!!!!
Also... here is a song that I forgot to put on my soundtrack yesterday. I'm OBSESSED with this song and just makes me love Darren Criss even more, and I want to sing like Charlene Kaye.
You're adorable (as is your dog), and I loved getting a peek into your life and your town! (Also, I've always wondered how to pronounce the name of your town, so thanks for clearing that up!!)
ReplyDeleteI totally had plans to participate in vlog day this month, but I have a crap ton of assignments due, and haven't had time to film anything, let alone edit a video!
Hopefully once things calm down a bit, I can mangle something together and give everyone a little tour of Melbourne! :D
Hehe. Thanks! And yeah... no one knows how to pronounce Cape Girardeau. Or spell it. It's an annoying town name.
Delete"I have more of a wobble than a walk." Heehee.
ReplyDeleteIt was a splendid tour! Also, I love that you announced that you're announcing your theme later this week. That made me giggle.
Also...
TOMORROW.
That is all.
I'm glad you appreciated that...
Deleteand ...
YAY TOMORROW!
I love your town! It kind of reminds me of Galena, where Mike and I just went for a mini-vacation a few weeks ago. I guess because they're both towns along the Mississippi, so they probably developed around the same time. Thanks for showing us around! :)
ReplyDeleteIt does have it's moments. I like the downtown area - I just don't to that part of town often enough. 1) Because my apartment is on the other side of town, and church is in the middle, so sometimes going over there is a bit inconvenient. 2) I am downtown by the river a lot because of play practice, but usually I'm rushing to rehearsal because it's been a crazy day and by the time we're done it's late and I'm ready to crawl in bed. Hopefully when the play is over I'll have more time to wander about and relax.
DeleteWoah! You live in Cape? Random. I have never been there, but my parents (/occasionally me too) live in Jefferson City and a bunch of people from my high school went to SEMO.
ReplyDeleteThis was fun -- it was great to see this tour of your day. I did the theme in a similar fashion.
That's crazy! I love how small the world is sometimes.
DeleteI love that you share your faith! I get really excited when people aren't afraid to do that these days! I started blogging because I miscarried my second child and used it as expression of grieving/talking to God. http://sandywessel.blogspot.com I would love to get in touch with you and chat!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I just followed your blog. :D I can't wait for us to be able to connect more!
DeleteSounds Great!
DeleteThis tour videos are all great. I loved seeing the buildings and hearing a little bit about the history. South Florida isn't very good about preserving history AT ALL, so it's cool to see in other places. :)
ReplyDeleteLor
It is cool that they preserve the history so much. I know there are a few historical landmarks around here. Sometimes it's a bit obnoxious because some people think they are still part of "the south", but other times I enjoy it because it's really interesting.
