When It's Time To Walk Away

GUYS.

I met a boy the other day.

It was at a party, we hung out, flirted, he was really sweet, cute, had tattoos, loved Jesus, and it was awesome. Nothing crazy over the top, but considering that in the town I live in I haven't found ANY guy that I've been into. ANY. The spontaneous flirt session was welcome.

That is what I wrote about on my Tumblr the other day. (I have a private Tumblr that only about five people know about. And no - I will not give the link. It's not that I don't love you all, it's just... no one knows me on there. It's kinda fun.) Then... someone commented....

Want to read more of this post? I'm blogging over at Just Sandy today!!!!

    1. Thanks! And yeah, I think it was the right thing too. Thankfully they haven't tried to comment on anything else - so hopefully that's done and over with!

  2. Oh dear, just read the rest of your post. People don't think God has more important things to work on then whether someone have tattoos? A good friend of mine was a worship leader at our very large church, and has quite a few tattoos.......most people didn't mind, but every now and then.....a comment or complaint email would happen.

    Have you heard from him???

    1. I haven't, thank goodness. I checked out his page, and I think it was someone who wasn't a Christian who just wanted to pick a fight. Thankfully it's past now.

    1. Right???? I do too. Yay for pool parties and you get to see some of the ones that are usually covered up. :)

  4. It's ok in my book to respond once in a loving way so they realise you're not upset by their obvious attempt to start a fight, but if they still continue trying to provoke after that it's pretty pointless. Basically, I agree with the others - I think you did the right thing.
