I have never participated in ...Some great thoughts. I have never participated in Lent, but I find myself getting more and more interested in Christian traditions like this as I get older. My family/church growing up was of the thought that these things aren't necessary for salvation...and while I agree, I do see the appeal and how it could assist with one's faith.
